- Acres

4.5 blighted acres transformed into a Wellness Center providing a supportive, safe, and stable environment for people experiencing homelessness and their families.
The backstory
Victorville was initially awarded Homekey funds in fall 2020. The manufacturer originally selected could not produce in time, and the city had to return the funds and reapply in Round 2 — this time with Connect as the provider.
- December 2021 — Homekey Round 2 funds awarded
- March 2022 — Contract signed
- July 2022 — First round of sleeping modules delivered
The campus
- 46 shelter modules (CS1, CS2, CS4) providing 110 rooms and 170 beds
- 26 service modules housing the OSPD Clinic, cafeteria, Wellness Center, and Recuperative Center
Why it matters
Victorville demonstrates Connect Shelters at campus scale — not just housing, but the full constellation of services (medical, food, wellness, recuperation) needed for people transitioning out of homelessness. The same factory-built platform delivers both.
